We, the undersigned, Petition President Obama to immediately issue the following EXECUTIVE ORDERS:

1. STOP THE ICE RAIDS AND STAY DEPORTATIONS.

2. GRANT TEMPORARY PROTECTIVE STATUS (TPS) TO ALL THE
UNDOCUMENTED. (This Order would create a legal identity and provide employment authorization and right to travel, a valid social security number, and a drivers' licenses).

3. ALLOW ALL PERSONS WAITING FOR VISAS TO FILE FOR ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS IMMEDIATELY. (This Order would provide the same benefits as those granted Temporary Protective Status).

4. REQUIRE ALL DEPARTMENTS THAT DEAL WITH IMMIGRATION (STATE, JUSTICE, & HOMELAND SECURITY) TO APPLY THE LAW FAVORABLY TOWARDS IMMIGRANTS AS EXPRESSED BY THE SUPREME COURT IN A 1948 DECISION.

We further Petition the U.S. Congress to make the following minor amendments to our immigration laws that would then complete the path towards legalization:
1. AMEND REGISTRY LAW, INA § 249. (Amending the date from January 01, 1972 to January 01, 2009 would allow all undocumented of good moral character to become eligible for legal residency overnight).
2. REENACT INA § 245(1). (This amendment would allow all persons waiting in line for a visa the right to adjust status and become legal residents in the United States).
3. MAKE ALL VISA WAIT TIMES DETERMINATIVE. (Would provide a shorter and definitive waiting time period for getting a visa through an employer or relative).
